The style is sweet, more like living at home. I like sitting in the balcony, looking the peole dans the streets. And also the restratant at the 2nd floor is confortable.
Very noisy, expecialy room 2208 that I stayed in first night. But if you like to go to sleep after 2am, it would be fine. It's located among the restaurants, bars and pubs. I found cockroach in the room.
It was small enough to give you a more homely feeling as opposed to a large hotel. The location was great. Very central. Breakfast was good and the staff helpful.
As much as the location was great it came with loud music and singing from nearby restaurants till midnight.
nice rooms with a lot of wood, reminded me of wintersport. good location too in the middle of the village
there was no facility to book any trips within the hotel and the rooms were on the small-side.
The location was excellent. Provided the weather was not great (it rained every day), we had things to do by walking around and looking at the little shops or just having a drink or a snack at one of the many restaurants. It was a bit loud at night, but they provide you with earplugs at check-in. We were so tired we did not even need them, and in our room closing the bathroom door eliminated most of the noise.
1) Location: Prime location. Is along West street. Convenient for food, leisure, shopping. 2) F&B: the hotel itself have few F&B outlets. You will be spoiled with a variety of food & cuisine. Like, HK, Germany, Local Yangshuo food and much more. 3) The room: The hotel room was well equipped with bathrobe, earplug, high quality bath tub, soft bed, LCD TV, and they even provide Twining Tea bags, which I love the most. They really invested a lot and I am really impressed! 4) I actually had a slip and fall during my stay in this hotel near their German Restaurant. And i highlighted this to their management, and they were quite resposive to my complain and get the floor matted the very next day. Well, at least I hope there will not be a second victim. And they really listen to the guest feedback and complaint.
1) Well, as the hotel is near to West Street, you will encounter some noise from the pubs near the hotel. But overall, i still can sleep without having to wear the earplugs which the hotel provided me. So, is still generally OK. And the noise will die down once it get later in the night! But sincerely, it depends on what you want, if you going for tranquility, then West Street should not be your 1st choice! 2) Basically the hotel is good enough and it was up to my expectation :)
Location and the restaurant facing the hotel
it is like a family hotel and far from being luxery hotel. Strange enterance through a cafe. A/C is bad.
I stayed in the Rosewood Hotel for one day while I was on business trip to Yangshuo. The standard room I had was spacious with a big and modern bathtub and powerful shower cubicle. In the room, it is quite quiet with free internet. The front desk staff are charming and helpful. The hotel is situated at the centre of West Street. You certainly have no problem in finding your favourite food in one of the restaurants downstairs which are also owned by the same proprietor of the hotel, while hotel guests are entitled for 10% discount I wish to try the deplex family suite when I come again for holiday with my family.
It's a 5-star hotel, but don't expect an International 5-star type of hotel. The hotel is located in the center of Yangshou, surrounded by restaurants and bars. The exterior of the hotel doesn't look like a 5-star hotel, the reception neither, but the room is perfect. Very clean. Good bed. Nice bathroom. As long as the Hyatt's and Shangri-La's of this world do not come to Yangshou (and hopefully they will never), this is probably one of the most luxury places to stay in the center of Yangshou.
If you want a quiet evening choose one of the hotels outside the city. There is a lot of noise from the streets (people having dinner outside, street artists, live music from bars, etc.), but after midnight it becomes quiet.
This hotel is located in the core of Yangshuo West Street, good staff and restaurant.
There are pubs around this hotel,
Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was excellent with a spacious bathroom area with storage cupboards. All fittings and finishings were to a high standard. We had 2 dinner meals at the hotel during our 4 night stay and the quality was very high. Considering the hotel is located on west Street with noisy bars etc, inside the hotel and the rooms was very quite. WE intend visiting the same area next year and hopefully can stay at the same hotel. Recommend to others
location is good. room is clean. the room have a good design. the rooms with terrace is good. the hotel owner also have 10 restaurants , if you live in this hotel can get 10% discount . compare with other nearby hotels, the room are quiet ok... is good for the honey moon...
service is slow.. and all the people nobody have a smiling face. looks like we are not welcomed... the location is in the west street, while is also very noisy , as all the bar and restuarans around... and it's not 5 star, it's bouqute hotel, and the price you get from the internet , you go there find the room price is the same like the door price ....
Very well located, very clean, late breakfast possible. They used a lot of wood which make it very nice. Good breakfast for a reasonable price. We stayed in the honeymoon suite which is realy romantic. You could see the stars during the night or, if you don't like that, just close the curtain. Some restaurants around belong to the same owner and we got a diccount of 15% in all of them. We plan to go back again!
No elevator, we had to carry our (light) lugade up to the 2nd floor.
Food - atmosphese - staff
It was just so noisy in the evening - not a good place to have a good rest - price for the 1st night was ok (around 50 euros) but the following 2 night was overcharge (around 100 euros per night)
Central location, though noisy. Spacious duplex room with balcony, space for 3 people. Good breakfast compared to others we had experienced in this part of China.
Noisy at night, earplugs and sleeping masks were provided! Hotel rates were raised by 50% during Western high season at New Year, although another hotel in village had lower rates at this season. Beware of rip- offs here. Had to argue to get three breakfast vouchers, even though we were three booked into the room. Heating worked, but had to be on constantly. Public space in hotel was cold. Furnishings look ok but cheaply done.
